In 2006, Hänz Nobe, moved from Houston, TX and became an early member of Texas State University’s collegiate program known as Hip Hop Congress, a national organization dedicated to excellence in hip hop music. This is where Hänz would develop his sound that would be described as robust and emotionally provocative. His ability to develop compositions that are articulate and concise are what have made him a stand-out producer from the start.

From the early days in the underground scene of Austin, TX and the EpideMic Hip Hop showcase to his work on the Broadway Advocacy Coalition’s Fellowship Hall project in 2021, his work has inspired and encouraged others to push the limits of their creativity and develop a truly unique sound that helps to distinguish them from the crowd. Later in his college years, he would be introduced to Grammy U where he became a dedicated member of the Texas Chapter from 2007 to 2010.

In 2011, he toured with popular Austin headliners Soul Tree Collective until the group’s eventual disbandment. During his tenure, Soul Tree Collective opened up for Grammy-nominated artist Tank, Grammy-Award Winner Ledisi, and Grammy-nominated artist Charlie Wilson.

From 2012 to 2014, Hänz cut his chops in the underground music scene as an organizer and contestant with the Space City Beat Battle, a multi-city producer show hosted at Texas hotspots Houston, Austin, and Dallas. When not developing the event’s branding materials and securing sponsorships with Vitamin Water and Alief Post, Hänz competed against the likes of Charity Vaughn, a producer for the Grammy-nominated recording artist and songwriter Cyhi The Prynce, who was previously signed with Kanye West’s label GOOD Music. Space City Beat Battle’s 2014 SXSW Festival appearance would premiere the first-ever International Battle, featuring Team Texas, coached by Grammy Award winning producer Symbolyc One, and Team Toronto, coached by Drake’s Grammy Award winning recording producer and songwriter Boi-1da.

In 2015, Hänz took the leap and became a hands-on intern with New York City’s Terminus Studios, now known as Penthouse studios, studying under owner Andrew Koss until 2016. He officially transitioned into professional production that same year and Hänz Nobe is credited with the production of four out of the seven tracks on the LP, TRIGGANOMETRY, released in 2018 for recording artist Trigga Don. This LP helped Hänz secure a placement with the VP Records/Atlantic Records (VPAL), securing radio play in the US, Trinidad, and Puerto Rico.

In 2019, Hänz became the Official Music Producer for All Def Digital (Def Jam), producing pre-recorded content for hosts and show runners until it was acquired by hip hop mogul T.I. Later in the year, before becoming the music composer for Slim Cinema, he created original music for a joint project between Staple Pigeon and Nike for the newly founded media group. Slim Cinema would host their first Slim Cinema Vertical Film Festival in Brooklyn, NY, in 2019. The festival would go on to be covered by both CNN and BBC News, and sponsored by Nike, Heineken, Vice, Uber, Monster, Genius, Instagram, Snapchat, Air Jordan, and others.

During this time period, Hänz also accepted an A&R position with the music production/booking agency MarcWin Music, the company renowned for working with Grammy Award-winning Carlos Santana, EDM DJ Lost Frequencies, the legends known as the Trackmasters, and a slew of other major label artists. In 2020, Hänz and the MarcWin team received their first Billboard entry which peaked at #23 on the Compilation Charts.

2020 is also the year Hänz, along with Faylita Hicks began working together on a project for the Right of Return USA, a flagship program of the social-justice for-profit organization, Soze Agency, and Open Philanthropy. During the pandemic, Hänz founded Room380, a premiere multi-service production company and LLC that now boasts an international staff of qualified musicians, songwriters, producers and engineers prepared to take on a diverse set of clients for career development. His intentions are to develop financially and ethically equitable practices when it comes to representation, record production, sales, and market sharing.

In 2021, Hänz continued re-formatting unreleased music for Faylita Hicks project
with the Tony-Award winning Broadway Advocacy Coalition. The project, Bar for Bar: After Party, was nationally announced via Playbill, Broadway Shows, and The New York Theatre Guide. The choreopoem Bar for Bar was directed by Tia Williams and featured two originally produced tracks by Hänz Nobe.
